The Safer Internet Forum is the industry’s prime conference on online child and adult safety in Russia, supported by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee on Family, Women, and Children, and the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation. The Forum’s main organiser is the Safe Internet League, the largest and most reputable Russian organization fighting dangerous Web content.

 

The 6th International Safer Internet Forum is to open in Moscow on May 12, 2015. As usual, the event will be hosted by the Rossiya Segodnya Infomation Agency.

 

This year’s Forum main theme will be continuing to develop the global information space in a climate of informational and political confrontation. Attending the event to share their opinions and experience will be leading experts from Russia, China, India, and other nations. The participants will be working out new approaches to issues of global, national, and personal security.

 

 

The 2015 conference will focus on:

  • Security in the global information space
  • Informational and digital sovereignty
  • Informational and educational technologies
  • Cyberwarfare and online revolutions
  • Legislation and statutory regulation of the Internet

 

The Safer Internet Forum is to open at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency media centre, Zubovskiy bulvar 4, Moscow, Russia, at 10 AM on May 12, 2015.
